１１．人に好かれる方法

人に好かれるためには、まず、相手に話をさせることだそうです。

■like の意味は？

□ of the の発音

　of the は重要な弱い音。
　素早く、音の輪郭がはっきりしないようにあいまいに発音します。

　日本語の感覚では、「ちゃんとしっかり発音しなさい」、といいたい気持ちに
　なりますが、英語は不思議なことに、この弱く、あいまいな音が非常に重要
　な役割を果たしているのです。

　　【注】 of the を「オブザ」と発音していると、聞き取れない。しかも、通じにくい。

　　　　　　　　　

　次の、区切ったフレーズで、前後の音との違いを確認してください。

d the は聞こえない。が、本人は「the を発音している」と言っています。

		この how to は「ハウツー（方法）」、like は「好き」ではなく、
		「たとえば」の意味。
